General Gustave F. Perna

General Gustave F. Perna became the 19th Commanding General of the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) September 30, 2016. Prior to becoming the Commanding General, General Perna served for two years as the Army's Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4, where he oversaw policies and procedures used by all Army logisticians throughout the world. As Commanding General, General Perna ensures that AMC succeeds in its mission as being the Army's premier provider of materiel readiness to ensure dominant land force capability for the U.S. warfighter and our allies.

Command Sergeant Major Rodger Mansker

Command Sergeant Major Rodger Mansker assumed duties as the U.S. Army Materiel Command's 16th Command Sergeant Major March 17, 2017. CSM Mansker serves as the Commanding General's personal adviser on all enlisted-related matters, focused on the quality of life for Soldiers, Civilians and Families as well as the training of Noncommissioned Officer Corps and Soldiers.

Lieutenant General Edward M. Daly assumed duties as the Deputy Commanding General of the U.S. Army Materiel Command on August 7, 2017. In his role, he is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Army's logistics enterprise. He also serves as the Senior Commander of Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Brigadier General Robert D. Harter

Major General Robert D. Harter

Major General Robert Harter assumed duties as the AMC Chief of Staff and Assistant Deputy Commanding General for the U.S. Army Reserve in April 2019. In his previous assignment, Major General Harter served as Commanding General of the 316th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary). where he deployed to CENTCOM in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Spartan Shield.

Assistant Deputy Commanding General, National Guard

Major General Allen M. Harrell

Major General Allen M. Harrell

Major General Allen M. Harrell assumed duties as Assistant Deputy Commanding General for National Guard Affairs, U.S. Army Materiel Command, on 1 December 2017. In his previous assignment, Major General Harrell served for three years as Commander, 167th Theater Sustainment Command, responsible for coordinating sustainment of active duty and federalized reserve component forces responding to catastrophic events and national security special events in the NORTHCOM area of operational readiness. He is a level III Joint Qualified Officer.
