The U.S. Army Materiel Command staff sections are responsible for overseeing a wide range of administrative, operational and logistical needs. The AMC deputy chiefs of staff oversee personnel, intelligence, integration and synchronization, command, control, communications, computers and management (C4IM) and resource management for AMC headquarters.

The Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations develops, integrates and prioritizes acquisition, logistics and technology concepts, process improvements and strategies to plan, source, make, deliver and return materiel to support the Joint Warfighter in peace and in war.

The Deputy Chief of Staff for Facilities, Logistics, and Environment supports the active Army’s global real property portfolio, which includes over 125,000 facilities and 87,000 family housing units totaling 920 million square feet, valued at $747 billion, impacting all 50 states and 152 countries.

The AMC Chief Information Officer provides command, control, communications, computers and information management (C4IM) governance, architecture, and capabilities-based information technology to enable the AMC mission to sustain the strength of the Nation in support of generating and operational joint forces.

The Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management leads the resource management process and manages funds in all appropriations, manpower and dollar resources in programming, budgeting and execution, determine and obtain financial and manpower resources required to support the warfighter and accomplish the AMC/Army mission.
