The U.S. Army Materiel Command staff sections are responsible for overseeing a wide-range of administrative, operational and logistical needs. The AMC deputy chiefs of staff oversee personnel, intelligence, integration and synchronization, command, control, communications, computers and management (C4IM) and resource management for AMC headquarters.
Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, G-1
The Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel collaborates with Army and Defense Department partners to develop an innovative and responsive human capital framework by providing expert HR consultation, leadership and guidance. The Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel develops, implements, and administers policies and procedures to maximize workforce capability.

The Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence provides superior intelligence, counterintelligence and security support to AMC acquisition, technology and logistics efforts to ensure dominant land force capabilities for Soldiers, the United States and our Allies.
Deputy Chief of Staff for Integration & Synchronization, G-3/4
The Deputy Chief of Staff for Integration & Synchronization develops, integrates and prioritizes acquisition, logistics and technology concepts, process improvements and strategies to plan, source, make, deliver and return materiel to support the Joint Warfighter in peace and in war.
Chief Information Officer, G-6
The AMC Chief Information Officer provides command, control, communications, computers and information management (C4IM) governance, architecture, and capabilities-based information technology to enable the AMC mission to sustain the strength of the Nation in support of generating and operational joint forces.
Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management, G-8
The Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management leads the resource management process and manages funds in all appropriations, manpower and dollar resources in programming, budgeting and execution, determine and obtain financial and manpower resources required to support the warfighter and accomplish the AMC/Army mission.
